THE LAW OFFICE OF
J. Brad Carrick, ESQ
Welcome to the boutique law office of J. Brad Carrick, ESQ. Unlike with large law firms, Brad works directly with clients and takes pride in his personal attention and service quality. Unlike DIY legal services, you actually have an attorney on your side who 'gets' you and considers himself a partner as you start and grow your business.
After graduating from Harvard Law School in 2005, he began his legal career as an associate with Latham & Watkins in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, where he excelled in both corporate transactional and litigation practice. After 3 years with Latham, he left big law firm life to pursue an MBA at one of Europe's top international business schools and develop an entrepreneurial career in fashion.
Mr. Carrick received an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa (IE) in Madrid, Spain in 2010 where he focused on fashion and entrepreneurship. He was the keynote speaker at the IE Fashion Conference and his team was selected for the Venture Lab entrepreneurial competition. Upon graduation he was inducted to Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for MBA Academic Excellence. While in law school at Harvard, he focused on international law and technology and served as Chairman of both the East Asian Law Society and the Consortium for Global leadership.
Having always possessed a passion for fashion and the arts, in 2010 he founded SOLZ, Inc., a unique brand creating "Functional Fashion for Active Lifestyles." SOLZ is known for its successful foldable shoe line and innovative solar-powered bags as well as its focus on social responsibility and alternative marketing and fundraising. Mr. Carrick has become a prominent figure in the San Francisco fashion community, having been elected as a director and business developer of the San Francisco Fashion and Merchants Alliance (SFFAMA) and chosen as the host of many leading events such as San Francisco Fashion Week 2011 and the 2011 San Francisco Fashion Awards.
Mr. Carrick graduated from Colgate University in 1998 with a BA in International Relations, Asian Studies and Economics. He was chosen for early induction to Phi Beta Kappa honor society and played NCAA Water Polo. He has been awarded the Watson Fellowship and has lived and worked in four different continents.
